Jamia Masjid Haroonia & Islamic Teaching Centre is a purpose built mosque in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Since its completion, it is serving the muslim community of the area very well.
The aim of the management of the mosque is to spread the teachings and practices of Islam. The heart of its philosophy is service to Allah and humanity. The message the mosque carries is to advocate peace and goodwill to all society and are committed to a peaceful coexistence through love, faith and tolerance. Jamia Masjid Haroonia & Muslim Community Centre is working with everyone to promote dialogue and understanding in our multi-cultural society. The mosque works in different areas to improve the life and well being of the muslim community. Apart from the other philanthropist projects, the mosque teaches Quran and Hadith to young children. These teachings make them understand true spirit of Islam and enable them to be good contributors to the society.
Jamia Masjid Haroonia & Muslim Community Centre is open to visitors regardless of their faith and beliefs, throughout the year. We receive a large number of visitors from schools, colleges, universities and other institutions wishing to find out more about the mosque and the Islamic faith for projects and studies.
